The primary goal of preventative maintenance is to prevent the failure of equipment before they actually fail. Preseason maintenance and service activities include equipment checks, partial or complete overhauls at specified periods, oil changes, lubrication and so on. To ensure completion by harvest, request a preseason as soon as possible.

If your older Farm Fans dryer burner will not light, or will light and the dryer shuts right off and the gas supply is turned on, inspect the condition of the flame switch wire, flame switch, and spark plug.  Replace parts as needed.  ALWAYS check for lose wires!
